Vietnam was once the colony of France and you can still see those chapters of Hanoian history in these gorgeous architecture.
Houses in Hanoi are tall yet narrow because property tax is collected based on the width of the building.
Hanoi was the only Asia-Pacific locality to be granted the “City for Peace” title by UNESCO on July 16, 1999, recognizing its contributions to the struggle for peace.
Autumn (around September to November) and Spring (March and April) are the two best seasons to visit Hanoi when the weather is pleasant with milder temperatures.
